Darker amber pour with dense reddish beige head a half inch high. Nice bright floral scent with some underlying but noticable chocolate, caramel, and iron. Average carbonation, finishes a bit dry/chalky. Flavors of bright iron, carmel, melon-y and subtle metallic hops, a bit earthy with some sweet florals too. Really good irish ale.

Can shared during RBWG 2015 - Tampa. Pours clear, amber-gold with a foamy off-white head. The nose is grainy toast and orange rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with leafy hops, faint chocolate, bitter earth. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sugary on the finish with notes of toasted grains, filter coffee and oranges. OK.

I’m gonna be real with you guys! .. Had on the bus, RBWG ’15, on the drive to the welcome dinner. **rating #100 for this beer, so shout out to Jasmin, you are the original dirty roller .. . Amber .. Mild foam .. Dirty red malts, stale corn, old things .. A ruddy red .. . . I got rauchbier flowing through my veins!

12oz can from Homer321, thanks bro. Poured a mostly clear deep reddish/amber with a smaller to average sized foamy light beige head. Aroma of dusty malts, molasses, caramel malts, wort, celery and green leafy veggies. Body is a little flat and boring. Flavor drops off from the aroma, notes of old grains, dusty malts, very slight hint of sweet malts and old dry molasses.

Interesting and quite red although very creamy. Nice taste of malts and easy to drink with friends.

Can Clear Reddish amber with an off-white head. Dusty malt aroma, a little hops. The flavor is lightly sweet. Not much going on here really.

Not a big fan of this one...malt and some sweet roast in there, but the palate isn’t my favorite and it just lacks complexity. Not a bad beer, but just not one I’ll grab again.
