Enjoyed a tulip glass of this beer on tap at the brewpub in Ybor. The beer had a full black color with rising dark bubbles on the outside and a large, dark, tan, creamy-foamy head with very good retention, and excellent cling and lacing. Its aroma had roasty chocolate and coffee tones along with lighter toffee and caramel notes and touches of earth and molasses. It had a semi-sweet coffee flavor with a blend of chocolate and was also fairly bitter with earthy and grainy flavors. The beer was fairly thick, wet, and velvety, with low-average carbonation, a dry finish, and a presence of alcohol. jrodooo5 (1680) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - APR 9, 2014
Big roasty stout that actually comes up a little thin. Has a good pour w/ nice lacing. It’s kind of a 1 trick pony & lacks a little bit of depth. Nevertheless, it’s a solid beer & worth a try for the avid stout fan! mike5326 (1754) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Poured from a tap. Dark brown color, medium tan head. Pepper and mild roasted malt aroma. Nice roasted malt flavor with a sweet and bitter character.

Dark black pour with a persistent khaki head. Nose has a lot of sweetness and a lot of roast with some dark coca and acidic coffee. However, it really comes together in a lovely aroma. Flavor is big yet smooth with roast and a touch of smoke, some bitter dark cocoa, and a semi-bitter coffee ish tone. Roasty and full, and quite dark without being syrupy. catface5326 (154) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - JAN 28, 2014

Had on draft poured a dark brown, almost black color with aromas of light chocolate, roast, and some earth. Flavors follow suit, a solid basic stout, wish they out this on more. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - FEB 17, 2013
On draft at Tampa Bay Brewing Co. Coral Springs. I felt like this one had great potential but is missing some elements. Could use some more coffee/chocolate flavor. The ABV is masked very well and it’s pretty easy to sip on. cooplander (543) - Florida, USA - DEC 19, 2012

Tap at the brewpub. Very dark pour with a tan head. Nice coffee aroma. Oily palate but not overly dense. Dry roasty malts. Good beer.
