Thanks to OmegaX for sharing. The nose on this one was of coffee, cocoa and dirt. High carbonation gave to a dry body, but quickly fading into a swath of coffee beans and chocolate covered raisins. I liked this one, I only wish for lighter carbonation... and a barrel-aged version as well. OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Tap at TBBC. Nose is tons of earthy cocoa, some light roast, and a nice amount of good ol’ chocolate. Body is dark, dark brown with a tan head. Taste follows suit with a dryish finish. Again, lost of chocolate and some cocoa and roast. A nice drinker. Travlr (24292) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Draft at the source. Listed as Iron Rat Stout, 8.0%, and described as an imperial stout. Almost black, dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate syrup. Taste is similar. Medium body. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - MAR 13, 2012
3/13/12. On tap at the brewery as Iron Rat, but listed as 10%, so I guess it’s this? Almost all black pour, ruby edges, with a small brown head that fades fast. Huge roast and coffee aroma with bits of tartness and caramel. Big roasty and chocolate kick but with loads of butterscotch... almost slick feeling. It’s not horrible, but nothing to phone home about. Gription79 (2886) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 31, 2011

Taste: roasted malts, chocolate, spicy
Overall: A great Imperial Stout with a solid bitterness and a thick/full body. Not overly sweet.
On draft at TBBC. Pours dark brown black with a dark tan head. Nose is chocolate, coffee, cocoa, slight earth, and Hershey bar. Flavor is the sme with a great chocolate quality. Silky mouthfeel and a delicious chocolate throughout. Very enjoyable imperial stout. douglas88 (9051) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 13, 2011
Growler thanks to IBrew2or3 at the tasting. Pours a almost pure black color with a medium brown head. The aroma is chocolates and light dark fruit. The flavor is nice; char, chocolates, some heat, roasted malts, nutty at times. A smooth drinking Impy for sure. It will appeal to those not looking for boozy over the top sweetness.
