On tap at brewery on 4/5/08. Pours a dark brown to black with a creamy white head. Aroma: grain, chocolate, coffee. Tastes the same with slightly bitter, chocolate, coffee finish. mike5326 (1788) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Poured from a tap. Dark brown color, medium tan head. Pepper and mild roasted malt aroma. Nice roasted malt flavor with a sweet and bitter character.

Big roasty stout that actually comes up a little thin. Has a good pour w/ nice lacing. It’s kind of a 1 trick pony & lacks a little bit of depth. Nevertheless, it’s a solid beer & worth a try for the avid stout fan! AndyW68 (1641) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 27, 2014
This shot is good. Black pour with thick tan head. Aroma is roast chocolate, coffee, dirt and a little sweet molasses. Taste is balanced very well. Nearly as good as the aroma. nqualls (1452) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 17, 2009
On nitro tap at the brewpub in Tampa Bay. Poured a deep black color with a creamy, one finger brown head. The aroma was of dark fruit and bitter chocolate. The flavor was vanilla, roasted malt, coffee and a slight chocolate finish. The palate was excellent on this one, with a velvet mouthfeel, soft carbonation and a full body. I was pleased with this one, and a few minor tweaks could make it great.

Wow.TBBC never ceases to amaze me when it comes to their stouts. Poured black with no light escaping through it. A small thin tan head tha dissipated quick.Hughe coffee aroma and Flavor with a hint of roastedness. The finish had a slight bitterness to it. OmegaX (1383) - Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Tap at TBBC. Nose is tons of earthy cocoa, some light roast, and a nice amount of good ol’ chocolate. Body is dark, dark brown with a tan head. Taste follows suit with a dryish finish. Again, lost of chocolate and some cocoa and roast. A nice drinker. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Thanks to OmegaX for sharing. The nose on this one was of coffee, cocoa and dirt. High carbonation gave to a dry body, but quickly fading into a swath of coffee beans and chocolate covered raisins. I liked this one, I only wish for lighter carbonation... and a barrel-aged version as well. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JAN 1, 2007
Body is a deep, nearly opaque garnet with a small ringing of foam around the edges. Faint aroma of roasted malts and alcohol. Flavor is bursting with roasted barley, coffee, and bittersweet baker’s chocolate. Alcohol is there but not too up front. Finishes dry and warm. Nice, balanced impy. Deep black with notes of heavy malt roast and cocoa nibs. Deep malt flavors show the cocoa and espresso flavors and mute the alch somewhat.
