On tap at Coral Springs taproom, color is muddy chocolate brown with a small head. Nose is all coffee and espressos and quite pleasant . Taste is chocolate with coffee espresso notes, and malt. Finish is slightly sweet, dry and ends with the same flavors. Nice lacing with soft carbonation and a moderate to heavy texture. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Sample pour at the brewery. Dark and healthy amber notes with off white head. Nose is fully roasted malts and rich malts with a light sweetness on the back. Flavor is fully roasted and smooth, some spice from the yeast towards the end. Quite light on the body, almost like an English porter. Not bad, but super drinkable.

On draft at TBBC. Pours a dark porter brown with a tan head. Nose is roasted malts, some cocoa, big coffee, and some earth. Flavor follows with nice roast character with some coffee, and some chocolate and cocoa. Medium in body and a nice porter overall.

Tap at the brewpub. Very dark cola colored pour with a tight white head. Roasted burnt coffee, maybe a bit of mineral. Not bad.

Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2012
A fresh, chalky porter. Lots of dark chocolate in this one - more on the bitter side however. Hops are light at first, and then you are greeted with some roasted notes and light milk chocolate as it warms up. Nice!

Tap at TBBC. Nose is a good amount of roast and chocolate with some light nutty qualities. Black body - tan head. Taste is a good amount of roasted malt and chocolate. A touch of earth and nutty flavors. Lighter mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Brown in color, clear with a thin tan head. Nice chocolate and toffee aroma and flavor. Dark roast malt this was a very tasty porter. I was very impressed with this brew.
