Very dark brown color, tan head. Light, sweet, coffee taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet herbal scent.
Draught at the brewery on January 25, 2014.
Clear black color with some red, teal head. SWeet, mineral taste. Light roasted aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, light roasted scent.
From an old tasting note: tap sampler at the brewery. Chocolate and coffee malt aroma. Tastes are bitter cocoa, roasty chocolate malts and nutty earthy quality. My favorite of the TB brewings I tried. fluffy (2472) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - SEP 26, 2010
nice to have a brewer in the backyard like this place. pretty straightforward porter, a little more bitter than most, but still good.

Draft @ Brewpub: Nose of chocolate and raspberry, light licorice and some hops. The flavor is minerally with a lot of roasty notes and bitter hops. A bit unbalanced but good to style. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - JUL 2, 2010

A dark clear brown porter with a thin brown head. A nice pleasant chocolate malt aroma, light moka coffee notes. In mouth, an intense caramel and chocolate malt with some smooth British hops, nutty and oily, quite nice and surprising. On tap at brewpub, May 24 2010. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pours a clear brown body with minimal to no head. The nose is chocolaty and roasty with some light ale yeast fruitiness. The flavor has lots of coffee with some roast and some light fruitiness. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice, long lingering coffee finish.
