An exceptionally light colored ale fermented at lower than normal temperatures for a smooth, clean finish. You can expect a light bodied ale with a slight hop nose. This is in the style of a Kolsch that originated in Koln, Germany.

Draft. Clear light golden color with very thin lacing. Faint aroma of light malt and fruit. Very light body with medium sweet taste. Finishes light sweet with some dryness.

I had this at Fords Garage. Pours gold with a white head. Taste light, grainy, sweet. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Golden in color with small white head. Mostly grain aroma. Mostly balanced flavor between malt and hops. Light bodied and quaffable. Decent.

On tap @ Tampa Bay Brewing. Yellow in color with a soapy white head. Sweet grainy aroma, a touch of bread, and some creamed corn. Sort of a vegetal character to it all around, to be honest. Light floral and grassy hops and a bunch of grain husk bitterness. Perhaps a hint of lemon.

Draft at the source with my buddy Adrien. Almost crystal clear gold, not much head. Aroma is light grain and corn. Body is very light with a water texture. Flavor shows lager yeast, corn, pale grain. Well it does fit the style and it is real simple.

Pale with medium head retention, almost no aroma, light malty flavor, dry. A very watery beer, not bad not good, but well crafted. For those who wants to drink something like a typical lager.

Sample at the brewpub. Pale yellow color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Fruit, malt and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly sweet with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Average overall.

Mild aroma of hops, clear golden colour with a transient white head. Flowery taste with a hint of hops, slightly sweet. Watery feel with a short lasting chalky palate.

Sampled some of this beer from a pint at the brewpub in Ybor. The beer had a light to medium gold color with a good sized foamy-creamy white head with great retention, and very good lacing and cling. Its aroma had lighter citrus notes with some herbal and yeast components, along with touches of earthy and grainy hops. The beer had a somewhat bitter taste with blends of grain and citrus, and a lighter sweetness with touches of yeast and wheat. A lighter beer with average carbonation, and a fairly wet body and average mouthfeel.

Kolsch ehh. So light, so uninteresting - I say it every time. Hands down 1 of the worst styles of beer & this is no exception. Plain, plain, plain.
