Can, 500ml at Le Marinka, Mesnil Saint Pere, France. Pale straw to gold with short head. A bit of a surprise this one and most likely my first Algerian beer. Thin, almost flavourless musty lager. All that’s wrong with cheap fizzy beer but hey it gives me so much else. Bad.

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours golden color with small white head. Aroma of pale malt, hay and light cardboard. Taste has malt, grass.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear deep golden colour with a small white head. aroma of sweet malt, grains, cardboard. Taste of grains, sweet malt, mild hops, cardboard, meh..

Many thanks to CH-303 for this 25cl bottle! The beer starts neutral grainy with a neutral bitterness. Not much depth but slightly metallic sweetish. Malty grainy, refreshing but neutral bitter in the aftertaste. Interesting.

Simple lager. Golden and light in flavor. Nothing new or exciting here. A reliable go-to when in Algeria.

CH-303 (2407) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - OCT 26, 2015
Appearance: Clear golden, lots of fizz. Some lasting white head.
Aroma: Grains, micro-malt.
Taste: Grains with light malt and hops. Some sweetness. Better than feared.
Bought: Trade with Greg - thanks!, 250 ml

Standard watery lager but with a bit of a hoppy bite bite. My go to beer when in Algeria as the beer availability is low.

richie747 (39) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 12, 2014
On tap at Club des Pins. Not bad for a blonde pale ale. Enough aroma and bitterness to keep everyone happy. Nice palate that made me have a second (because there was not much else around)!

andrepintado (3754) - Porto, PORTUGAL - JAN 1, 2012
High carbonation. Thin head. Thin texture. Golden color. Low bitterness and touches of sweetness (maybe sugar?). Hop aroma and also some other aromas that I couldn’t identify. Maybe herbs?

Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 28, 2010
Pours gold with a white head. Smells of corn meal, some wet cardboard. Tastes of corn, pine, some skunky hints. Unbalanced, messy beer.
