Tap at Craft Beer Live Osaka 2017. Worty nose, grain, caramel. Hazy orange color, flat. Sweet, estery, worty. Did they forget the yeast? Oily and slick and not a real lager. maekchu (3917) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 2, 2016
Bottle from Kumiyama AEON Mall liquor shop. Yeasty and grainy nose, with bread and some mild stone fruit. Lightly hazy gold straew color. Yeasty initial, with light sweet fruitiness, honey, and mild bittering. Has some body, but is not as malty as it should be. Drinkable. KansaiBeerLvrs (5158) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 31, 2016
Bottle won at Craft Beer Live 2016. It’s an opaque honey gold so I guess that means it’s European in style. The aroma is biscuit, bready and, mild butterscotch. Light bodied with a prickly carbonation and very dry finish the taste is bready, honey, a bit of butterscotch with a bitting herbal hop note in the finish. It’s ok.
