The first beer in Hungary produced for the nations biggest active rock band, Tankcsapda. Baiscally a normal Soproni beer, but a bit stronger.

Canned - Clear golden colour, medium, short life white head. Malty aromas of bread and some dusty grains. Taste is sweet with some caramel and low hop bitterness. Thin body, average carbonation, watery mouthfeel, blank finish. Average mass-produced european lager.

pale golden colour, correct white head; aroma and taste of some grass, grains, cardboard, and sweetness of corn - practically a simple Soproni with a bit more alcohol

500ml can. It is the very average of hungarian lagers. At first sight a good lager with enormous foam, orange colour, but taste is little light, too sweet and one sided (sweet). Maybe there are some hop and malt but just a little. Its price isn’t little.

Can from my store, Southern Hungary. This is supposed to be an updated version of the basic Soproni, with a little more kick (plus 0,3%) and taste. Let’s see. The color is definiteley darker than the oroginal one, almost orange-like. Quite fast dissapearing white foamy head. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste is a little sweet, roasted malty, medium carbonated, medium bitter. Medium bodied. Not bad, but it won’t be my fav. At least Soproni will sell shitloads of this at the bands (Tankcsapda) concerts and festivals.
