September 14, 2015 at Tap East - handpull cask. Hazy slightly pale gold with a small mottled white/off-white head. Solid grassy aroma, a bit of sticky gluteny grain there - vaguely fruity. Taste didn’t really do it for me - trying to be decently grassy-bitter but it’s more like scorched grass or straw, and dominantly so. Average body, slick, mild carbonation, long, lingering bitter/burnt finish. Wanted to like it, but ... not this time.

The taste is dry, bitter, straw, grass, grapefruit, peppery spice, grainy and apricot. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bit a huge amount to it. Fair.
