Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, dusty dark malt. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dusty dark malt, chocolate, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. 
Cask @ Charlotte, Leicester, black with a cream head, malty with a toffee taste and a malty toffee aftertaste a nice porter. Frenger (367) - Derby, Alabama, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2012

Cask gravity, The Crown Summer BF, Nuneaton, 02/06/12. Headless mahogany. Coal and slight farmyard nose, soy. Black cherry and brimstone notes. Nutty linger. Turning balsamic but OK.
