Pi (ð) “As Defined by Us”
A clean lager like Golden Ale that we ferment at a low temperature using Belgium yeast from Antwerp, this makes it a unique hybrid that possesses both flavor characteristics of lagers and ales. With light biscuity flavor and a muted malt aroma this Golden Ale has a slight sweetness in the middle that compliments the clean finish.

Bottled, 355ml dumpy from BeerMerchants of Kent. Pale yellow gold with fizzed white head. This proved to be a really thin, tinny beer, there is a forced carbonation mustiness to this and a taste of artificial lemon. Some light biscuit. Really disappointing.

From small bottle. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grains, amber malts. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of light grains, light malts, slight straw hops. Overall light and clean, but lacking any golden oomph!

A surprisingly boring golden ale, with some biscuit and dirt malt, and very little in the way of Belgian yeast, though there is an indistinct spice character. Blah...

12oz bottle into a Corsendonk tulip on 4th June 2016. Very pale lemon coloured clear body, white wispy head. Tasted and had the aroma of a lemonade shandy. I had a bottle of this three weeks ago and thought it must have been off: sadly it does taste like watered down Bud, because this was identical.

Als Pi 3.14 Golden Ale vom Fass im Brauhaus. Goldgelbe klare Farbe. Hopfenduft. Getreide und Hopfen im Geschmack. Gut aber harmlos.

Wet marshy funk smell. Slightly hazy pee yellow with a head to match. Awesome grain flavor carrys to a refreshing finish. Light refreshing sour mash aftertaste. Great warm weather beer.

Sampled from bottle at Bevmo holiday beer fest in S.F. Nice easy drinking ale, Brewery rep said it was a golden ale, not sure why R.B has it listed as a belgium ale. This beer would be great on a warm day or as a all night drinker. Have had other brews from Tap it and I continue to be impressed.
