to me guiness extra stout is the best beer in the world....I’ve drunk beers from around the world for many years and the only beer to come close to equaling guiness is Tap Room 21 -pale ale... MuskratAggie (1) - College Station, Texas, USA - SEP 17, 2011 does not count
I really like this beer. Very smooth, good color/aroma. Love the design of the label and box. crackitopen (1) - Georgia, USA - NOV 27, 2010 does not count
a citrusy bouquet wafts your nose as you pour this rich and beautiful golden brew. its sharp, striking woodsy (hoppy) flavors complement everything from pizza to steak to seafood to indian food. anything very flavorful will be even more flavorful. it makes a great autumn or spring time beer. but be careful... it packs a punch too. WHAT A GREAT BEER!!! brewyank (1) - Mechanicsville, Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2007 does not count
Probably one of the best pale ales I have ever had, and I have had plenty.
Great aftertaste. Goes down very smooth. No harsh aftertaste. geologyguy (1645) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - OCT 19, 2012
just like their Amber ale this is quite a good beer! the only "negative" is the finish which is just neutral to me... definitely top notch

NIce caramel and hop aroma, slightly smoky. Hazy copper color, medium off white head, good lacing. Ashy hop flavor with a lemon twist. Bark and hop finish. Very well balanced. It’s rather earthy which I really like. trevman31 (2) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2012 does not count
I bought this at the grocery store on my recent beach vacation and found it quite lovely and refreshing. keepersj12 (3133) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUL 14, 2009
I’m going against the grain here. Maybe because it was very hot when I tried it but I liked it a lot more than my brethren. Nice malty, bready aroma. Pours a clear amber with a big lingering head. Nice bitter taste and finish. Crisp and clean. good stuff. Thullin187 (22) - Smyrna, Tennessee, USA - MAR 10, 2015
caramel, bread, Pepper spice, golden, clear appearance with one finger white head, medium sweetness, lightly sour finish, slick feel, medium body, light lively carbonation JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - APR 24, 2008
Good head, creamy, over copper-chestnut beer. US hops, with some chestnut or nutflour malts’ balance. Quite sweet, again nutty - oxydized notes, but pleasing, malts; toffee apparent. Too sticky, too much restsugars to have a pleasing body and texture. If it’s a pre-Prohibition thing, I’m not even guessing about the style.
