COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our sessionable hybrid between an ale and a lager. It’s light and crisp, with slight wheat undertones and a clean finish.

Thin bodied, somewhat bitter. Sorry, I had to upload these old ratings. They were for me, not for uploading. And also I need 75 characters, hence this sentence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

APPEARANCE - looks like a kolsch should. Very light, clear, light head. NOSE - like most T&S, hardly any scent. NOTES - solid kolsch.

shigadeyo (3855) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 30, 2015
Not much aroma, just slightly grainy and musty. Pale golden color, slight chill haze, thin white crown. Tangy dry malt with a good dose of Noble hops and moderate bitterness that?s appropriate for the style, yeasty finish and lingering grassy bitterness. Light body, slightly watery. Fairly solid Kolsch.

3.4
jsquire (4718) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2015
Pale yellow color with a sticky white head. Light nose with some yeast. Initially crisp cracker with some lemon and grass notes. The finish is a little heavy on the yeast. Nice lighter brew pub offering.

on tap @ Tap & Screw / Cincinnati OH --- Clear dirty straw color, white rim head, dashes and dots of lace. Somewhat thin, light bodied wheaty malt that turns nicely bitter before it gives up. Definitely light and unassuming, but also thirst and palate cleansing. A reasonable light brew, even if not a traditional Kolsch.

Draft sample at brew pub pour light lemon yellow. Nose light spice and some wheat. Taste moderate spice, some banana, light bitter mid palate. Some bready malt late. Fairly pleasing for a kolsch

Draft at Tap and Screw. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have crackery, doughy malt, grass, light sweet, mild bitterness, for what it is, not bad.

3.4
Drjohnrock (841) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 3, 2015
Draft sampler at the brewpub. Very hazy yellow hue, light bittersweet nose, tangy bittersweet taste with more backbone than a lot of other brews of this style. Refreshing.

Tmoney99 (15213) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 29, 2014
Tap. Poured clear golden yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer and good for style.

4oz on tap at the brewery. Kind of hazy golden yellow color. Thin off-white head. Loose lace. Good bready kolschy base, mild pepper. Nice doughy flavor. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Nice kolsch, really dig this one. Good balance.
