Clear copper, rich off-white smooth lacing foam head. Like these typical English heads. Nice hoppy aroma and bitter taste, decent bitter. (York 201612) NallePalle (648) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2016

Cask-conditioned at the Brewery, 1/12/2014. Amber with a lazy, off-white, head. Well balanced bitter with a touch of sweet fruitiness, crisp malts and decent, bitter, finish. Good. BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2014
12th Sep 2014: Euston Tap, cask half-pint. Clear amber with a lightly tanned head. Mildly malty lead in both the aroma and taste, but not a great amount of anything really aroma wise. The light tasting beer was in good condition and calmed me down after some heavier brews: I needed a 3.5% ABV bevvy at the time. So a fine slightly sweet malty beer that I enjoyed without it exciting any of my senses. Rune (12795) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 1, 2014
Brewed in Sheffield. Half pint, hand pulled cask ale at York Tap. Low beige head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Clear copper coloured body. Smell of leafy hops and brown malts. Chocolate malty flavour balanced by hop fruity notes. Nice bitter round off, some roastiness to it. Not diluted at all. A well-made, flavoursome ale. Cask at The York Tap. Yep, it’s a bitter. Your standard brown quaffing booze. Biscuit, fruit, slightly nutty. Not bad, not noticeable really. Didn’t leave an impression. Garrold (5276) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2014
