pours a nice copper color. very tart and fruity initially. Belgian influence is there but mild. not intrusive. carbonation really drives the flavor but it doesn’t linger as much as I would like. brokensail (16631) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 8, 2010
A: The pour is amber/copper in color with a thin ring of white foam.
S: The nose is somewhat on the light side with some sweet caramel and bready malts. There’s also a nice toast bready aroma to it.
T: The beer is caramelly and sweet with that usual bready malt flavor. Some light baking spices, like cinnamon, as well. Unfortunately, there’s a very noticeable alcohol presence.
M: The body is on the full side with a moderate level of carbonation and a bit of warmth.
D: I liked some of the flavors and aromas in the beer, but it was unfortunately, the alcohol presence ruined the experience for me. yespr (47113) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2009

On tap. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Interesting aroma of caramel and - surprisingly - a little licorice. Medium body, caramel, yeast and spices. The finish is dry. 060709 JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - JUL 6, 2009
On tap in Brea, nice amber pour, nice complexities of flavor and aroma. It’s a very tasty beer.

On tap, then got a growler filled. Nice easy drinking beer. Good color of amber and deep orange. Mild banana and vanilla aroma, with a slightly sweet flavor. Certainly worth trying. I always get a growler filled of something while I’m in that area. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - SEP 21, 2008
On tap at Taps. Color was golden amber with a white head and some lacing. Aroma of caramel apples, vanill and sugar. Very nice. flavor of yeast, apple, bubblegum with a bit of alcohol and bread. Like most of their beers, this was solid to good for the style. badlizard (5532) - Berkeley, California, USA - JUL 22, 2008
ON tap at brewery. Cloudy brownish yellow with a creamy white head. Grain, straw, and barn yard funk aroma. Earthy, fruity, citrus taste, smooth bright and mildly sticky mouth feel with a crisp dry finish.
