On tap at Mohawk Bend, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, particularly cherries, roasted malts, and some chocolate. Flavour is quite chocolatey and fruity, full of sweetened milk chocolate, cherries
and other dark fruits, what a wonderful balance of flavours. Sweet but not cloying. Excellent stuff. Ratman197 (15228) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 22, 2012

On tap at the brewpub during RBSG 2012. Tastes like bitter old coffee. Roasty and strong but not fresh-tasting. Lesser notes of chocolate and nuts. To be fair, I had the special brewer’s blend of BA Speedway with Vietnamese coffee earlier in the day -- now that was a perfect marriage of coffee and beer. It was lively, zesty, and well-integrated. Balinese might as well be Guinness run through a Folgers randall in comparison. JoeTheYounger (1183) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Pour at TAPS in Brea for RBSG bus trip. Super dark pour with tons of coffee and acidic aroma. Taste is super black espresso. This is a coffee bomb and I love it. What a great beer.

Tap at the Brea location. Inky pour. Clear highlights. Nose is very green- spicy jalapeno, green bell pepper. Salt and caramel. Much too green. Taste is very acidic coffee, lemon tea, green bell pepper, jalapeno spice. Black peppercorn. As it warms, some coffee flavor fades thankfully for toasted nut flavors. Palate is still very dry. Gets better as it warms. But overall, not the way to brew with coffee. KyotoLefty (10610) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 21, 2012

I had this on tap at Taps Brea during the RBSG 2012. This imperial stout has a nice complexity about it: chocoate, chilies, etc jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 20, 2012
