Growler. Rating #11. Orangish/brown color with a thin white head. Sweet spicy aroma, cinnamon and pumpkin. Flavor is similar, real nice, I like it. (1953) brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 12, 2011
A: The beer pours a slightly hazed amber color with q dense off-white head.
S: A very strong spice note. Lots of cinnamon and nutmeg with a little bit of spiced apple cider. Some toasted malt and bread with a light grass note. A touch of savory spices and fruits, interestingly enough.
T: Fairly sweet with lots of bread and apple cider notes. Quite spicy, definitely a lot of cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg, and some clove. A little bit of bread and caramel. Not a bad pumpkin ale.
M: Medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation.
O: The apple note was a bit distracting, but otherwise it’s pretty decent. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 20, 2010
On tap. Lasting creamy off-white with a hazy orange body. Aromas of molasses, vegital, spice, soggy grain. Light vanilla, cinnamon, orange peel, nutmeg, allspice. Taste is grain, graham cracker, vanilla, and spice. Lively bubbles and a dry mouthfeel. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - DEC 31, 2009
Hazy light orange with a fizzy white head. Pumpkin and cinnamon aroma and taste with a nice clean finish. Very drinkable. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 4, 2007
Growler received in a trade with dirty_martini. Thanks Larry! Pours a cloudy copper with a thin yellow/white head that disappeared fairly quickly. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin, malt and allspice. The flavor is equally pleasant with malt, pumpkin, and allspice. Nice smooth finish and very easy to drink. Good stuff!

one of my favorites every year. nice solid malt base with a hint of pumpkin flavor as the base flavor. nicely balanced with cinnamon and nutmeg, with a slightly sharper spice flavor added from the cloves and allspice. we may not have the big change of seasons here in so cal, but we have this every year to remind us fall is here. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

dark yellow, wispy off white head, sweet cinamon aroma, light cinamon flavor on a good malt base that has lots of pumpkin character, light spiced bitter finish, nice that the spices balance rather than take over
Aroma: 6/10; Appearance: 6/10; Flavor: 7/10; Palate: 7/10; Overall: 13/20
Poured a lgiht hazzy copper color. The aroma was spicey with notes of cinnamon and ginger that covers up the malt. It isn’t overpowering though. A little minty. The flavor was malty with a quick hit of cinnamon and spice. The finish was short other than light spice giving some length. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - DEC 18, 2006
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2007 Was pleasantly surprised with this beer. Very good compared to the other pumpkin beers I had. Aroma was of pumpkin and cinnamom/spices. Palate was good, as was the flavor. Flavors much of the same as the aroma. (Rerated on Thanksgiving; agree with my original rating) JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - OCT 26, 2004
I think that this beer was nicely done. It definitely has a pumpkin flavor and aroma, but not so much to be overpowering. It’s clearly a beer w/ a pumpkin aspect to it. Tasty.
