Reddish colour. Caramelly, earthy nose with a light blackberry fruitiness. Soft, clean, lightly caramelly palate is lightly fruity. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2007
Can from LCBO. A hazy reddish amber alw with a thick big bbuled light moka head. A light berry aroma with light caramel. In mouth, a sourish beer, with astringent medical notes. Light nuttyness and butter in finish. Infected...surprising since this is canned. Oh well. Drain pour. Sammy (12212) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 14, 2006
On-tap at West 50 Pourhouse. Red with lace. Sourish, lightish body. I was expecting a malty beer. Unfinishable. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 27, 2009
On tap at Taps on Queens in Niagara Falls. Pours a crimson hued light brown with a medium sized white head. Loads of caramel, light malt, and a bit of toast and maple. Medium bodied, creamy, with some cream soda flavors coming through. Finishes up with a light dry bitterness. Best of the first four I’ve had. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 15, 2006
Amber brown, cream coloured head. Sweet candy honey aroma, bit of a strange note to it. Pleasant bitterness is a touch astringent and has a bit of the same strange character as the aroma. Light candy sweet orange and very astringent lemon. Average palate. Tough to tell if this is a bit off (I only got it a few weeks ago at the brewery) or it was just never in very good shape. Disappointing.

500 ml can in Toronto. Reddish brown color, low white head. Highly effervescent. Rather weak aroma of caramel malt and hops. A touch of dark fruits. Fruity, malty flavor. Smooth, with dark fruits and some bitterness that is quite earthy. Slightly candy-like as well. Not really special or interesting, but quite drinkable and not really bad.

[206-20070215] 473mL. Doughy yeasty under-baked bread aroma with grassy earth undertones and a hint of animal qualities. Clear, brown red body with fast-rising small bubbles and a medium-lasting light tan foamy head. Flavour continues under-bakedness of bread, less grassy and more lemon in the aftertaste. Medium body with both a smooth and sour pucker feel. Comes together but it’s an odd combination.
Can. Fourth beer of the night for my own Swill (or almost swill) Fest. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a small diminishing off-white head. Mild aroma of sour apples, grain, sweet malt and...meh, I don’t know -- too sour and crappy. Flavour is also sour and grainy, almost astringent and harsh, along with some sugary sweetness. Light to average bodied. Man, this just isn’t good, I would think this is off but I just got this can a week ago. A typical awful Canadian Cream Ale. Radek Kliber (7367) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - AUG 21, 2006
Bottle. Amber ale with small ring on top, middle fizz. Aroma accented with light sugar candy and fruits. Thin front (body), strange flavours in the middle, malts, spice. I am not sure if this ale was planned to be like that. Poor.
