COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remy is a travel buddy whose life, at times, has rivaled that of the world’s most interesting men--free-spirited, adventurous, and with a penchant for fast women, whiskey, and beer: the perfect inspiration for something truly special. For Remy’s Pappy, we filled barrels from an exceptional bourbon distillery with our award-winning Imperial Russian Stout and let them sleep for many months. The transformation results in a beer similar to our original Remy: rich and roasty, with incredible flavors of marshmallow, coconut, and dark fruit, with additional layers of chocolate ganache and rare whiskey goodness. Enjoy!

Made specially for El Cerrito Market (Corona, CA).

Bottle shared with Caesar @ Caesars mancave. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized brown head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, bourbon, vanilla, red wine. Taste malts, bourbon, lightly red wine, vanilla, bitter, more subtle bourbon notes. Decent body, suitable soft carbonation. Nice!

markextrae (4460) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2015
bottle shared at our big bottle share tasting. batch 1 bottle. poured a dark black colour with a tanned head on top. nose has a strong sweet bourbon notice, lot’s of coconut, strong on the roasted malts, sweet bakers chocolate, marshmallows, sticky caramel. incredible aroma. taste is strong on the chocolate. sweet dark campfire bourbon. however, the aroma was mindblowing. but the mouthfeel is a bit of a game changer, it’s pretty weak bodied. this would be world class if the mouthfeel was thicker.
