A: The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a small white head.
S: A nice aroma to it with lots of citrus hop notes. Plenty of ripe grapefruit, as well as the rind. Some tangerine notes are also there, as is some pine. A light bready malt aroma is present underneath.
T: The flavor starts off quite nicely. A big burst of hop flavor, lots of grapefruit and tangerine. There is a pine bitterness in there, too. As the beer warms up, though, a lot of malt sweetness comes through.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: This was a pretty solid beer. Not too many things wrong here, but I wish it didn’t become sweet as it sat in the glass. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - MAY 27, 2011
