Draft... Clear yellow lager with a mid-sized, frothy, white head that’s... zap!... gone in a flash. Sweet, grainy nose and flavor. Lightly hopped to cut into the sweetness and provide a tiny hop zing. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, refreshing finish. Went well with raw oysters and dolphin fish. Tallahassee, Fl. - Wing Stop Restaurant - on tap. Medium golden pour, soft white head. Pretty neutral aroma - pick up some fresh lake water notes, a hint of citrus. Some creaminess in the flavor and noticeable saaz hoppiness. Some buttery notes round it out with a hint of spiciness. Mouthfeel is surprisingly thick and creamy. Surprise find at this little restaurnat that every once in a while has some new taps. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - AUG 24, 2008
Draught (Busch Gardens, Tampa): Pours medium golden with a 1.5 inch white head that lasts 5 minutes. Aroma of a good skunky pils, with malt and saaz hops overpowering. Flavor is bitter and sweet/skunky and a little gummy. Medium body with above average carbonation. Finish is toasty malt, and bitter. BelgianBeerGal (4120) - Panama City, Florida, USA - DEC 19, 2007
Draught into Tarpon Spoon footed pilsner on holiday. Not bad for A-B. Notes of citrus in aroma with a clean crisp flavour. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 27, 2007
Sampled at GABF 2007. Clear fluorescent yellow with a synthetic head. Slightly grainy aroma. Water bomb thinness. Perhaps a breif dunking of a teabag full of hops into each bottle, but other than that, I’m not sure how this differs from their other gazillion barrel madness.
Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2007
Rated 7/14/07. On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings in Orlando. Appearance is crystal clear gold with high carbonation, and a small white film. No lacing noted. Aroma was somehwat flowery, but with a corny malt base. Flavor was basically the same. Thin and watery body, but it also had a creamy quality to it. Smooth finish. Easy drinking, but a typical macro corny malt base. Better than most AB products, but far from impressive. dchmela (3078) - Orlando, Florida, USA - SEP 12, 2007
On tap at Hurricanes in Orlando. Served in a frozen mug, so much of aroma was non existent. Nice golden color nonetheless. Nice roasted malt taste with a good balance of hops. Not bad, even after finding out it was an AB product. Panzuriel (2324) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2007
On tap in Sarasota Florida
Clear golden yellow with a decent head. Nose is of citrus fruit and some hops. Nice clean refreshing beer with a mild citrus zing. Not much aftertaste. Decent body. yayforbeer (753) - Orange Park, Florida, USA - OCT 8, 2007
On tap in the Hospitality Room at the A-B Brewery, Jacksonville Florida. Clear golden yellow beer with a medium white head that fades after a short while. Light floral hop aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet pale malts, with a good hop flavor, then a clean finish. Fair amount of carbonation. Not spectacular or memorable, but certainly drinkable and decent. rugbydude05 (478) - Bridgewater, NJ, New Jersey, USA - DEC 19, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2008 I feel bad rating this beer because i had it on a crisp winter’s night and not a hot summer afternoon, so it really felt out of season as i consumed it. Pours a very pale color with medium head. Aroma is pleasant and mildly floral. Could have wished for a more prominent flavor and aroma but the palate is smooth. Drink this when its 80 degrees plus outside to appreciate it fully. Also disappointed to realize that its produced by AB and not locally brewed (for me at least) in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
