Created from a blend of Alsatian and US hops Sunny Baia is a session ale with a fruity hop character. Née de la fusion de houblons alsaciens et américains, Sunny Baia offre des notes houblonnées fruitées. Légère et désaltérante, elle séduit par son caractère affirmé.

Leighton (23350) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2016
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beergium. Pours clear, deep burnished gold with a frothy, pure white head. Ripening citrus fruits in the aroma, some peach, gooey orange, dry pale bread. Light sweet flavour with notes of nectarine, more dry, pale bread, white grape, a little yeast, strawberry. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Pretty well balanced in the finish, with more citrus fruits, subtle rindy bitterness, some melon, peach. Pretty solid overall.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 19/05/2017. Only lightly hazy golden, creamy white fizzy bubbles. Nose is oily lemon hops, with light mango, some apricot,… Nose is not very expressive, mellow fruit, pleasant, neat stuff. Taste is oily, light sweet, white great, mango, floral, bit lively, floral finish with light grass. There is some light powdery yeast. Pleasant easy to drink, could be a small touch more expressive but I am digging it right now as it is. Reminds me of the work of De La Senne, I suppose a bit of De Ranke as well as which is a more logical comparison I suppose. Neat modern style hoppy Belgian. This I like. This is hopefully the future & this is the first time that I hear of a Mistral hop.

Fin (11256) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2016
Bottle picked up at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie. Consumed at home (yes unusually we’re at home having a beer or a Friday night) Friday 25th November 2016 Pours dirty, grubby, amber colour with an off-white head. Fresh, clean zippy, hoppy and bitter. This is bloody great, best beer of the evening so far. There is a touch of perfume on the edge, I love this an unexpected hit. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov17 4.0

Aftertaste: nice bitterness, citrus, very bitter, grassy touch, some tropical fruits, bit resinous. Lovely beer!

gyllenbock (10353) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 13, 2017
Bottle from Beergium. A refreshing and easy to drink one with hops, tropical fruit and some bread. The body was on the light side and the finish rather dry. Quite good.
