aroma: hoppig, fruitig, mout, graan
smaken: smaakvolle hop bitterheid, fruitig
ik kreeg niet echt een IPA ervaring, geen topper.
080313. Bottle at home. Pours hazy golden with a nice head. Aroma Belgian yeast, some citrusy grass. Nice hoppy fresh taste. Not Bad. RexTalionis (3775) - FINLAND - MAR 2, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Pours unclear golden in color with a foamy white head. Floral hops, notes of perfume and pale malts in aroma. Fruity, but more some grassy hoppy bitterness in taste. More sweet in finish. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 20, 2013
So, an IPA brewed by two ladies, cool. The squat little 33cl bottle pours out with a clear deep gold body that supports a near white inch tall head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma is very yeasty and spicy and with very slight barnyard going on, that I’m liking by the way, as well as cantaloupe, peach and wet tangerine rind amid a couple of bars of hand soap. Interesting aroma that comes together for me. Wow, the taste is nearly the same with mix of firm yeasty spices, a mineral sense, cantaloupe and peach skin like notes. It gets to a slight resiny hop bitter note here and there but is largely spicy yeastiness and modest hop and estery flavor. Still, pretty tasty. jookos (6908) - FINLAND - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle. Orange copper, clear. Strong belgian-style yeast, hoppy on nose. Greens, citrus, pale malts. Feels like a hoppy belgian strong. Body is softish, good bitterness. The yeasty esters, residue, and some foresty green hops. A touch of caramel, some pine. Overall a quite clearly belgian- style ipa. Hops and all, but the yeast esters and malts dominate just as much.

I did a little search before I open this bottle, and is registered on both the sites I use in order to find information about a beer, as an IPA. I would say that this was my first IPA but actually it tastes very similar to a belgian strong ale.
A 330 ml bottle, with the silliest label I’ve seen on a beer, just the two eyes of a woman, looking at me, trying to seduce me (?), then the beer’s name and on te bottom the words "By women". Poured into my sort-of-tulip glass, this bottle gave me a deep orange coloured beer, with one finger of white head, a few bubbles rising to the top and lots of tiny things floating in it, I guess is unfiltered, although I didn’t find any info about that.On the second pour the beer was even more hazy.
Aroma is sort of fruity, with just some hoppy and citrus notes, as described on the bottle.
Taste is bitter as expected, and even more bitter on the aftertaste. Very pleasantly drinkable, although maybe I should have left it a bit more in the fridge.
On the body it has medium thickness, and light carbonation.
Hmm, not a bad one, but if this is how IPA’s taste like, then according to the popularity of the genre this must have been a poor sample.

Starke Karbonisierung. Etwas trockener Beginn, hefig, typisch belgisch. Trocken bleibend, besonders zum Ende hopfig, was auch der einzige besondere Punkt ist. Unspektakulär. 9/8/7/7/5/7

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty – lightly wheaty and sweetish aroma, light caramel, berry fruitiness with some grapefruit - citrus hoppyness, some yeast. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some berry - floral fruitiness with light grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty – lightly wheaty and sweetish, some caramel and some floral fruitiness, light citrus hoppyness with some yeast. Too much caramel sweetness for IPA. I bought this nice beer in a bottle. This beer has a soft carbonation. Aroma of raisins, limes and fresh strawberries. I was a bit dissapointed by the aroma. From what I can remember of Tasty Lady the aroma was more interesting. Perhaps this bottle was a bit older.
Tastes light malty sweet in the beginning and gives a longlasting medium bitterness in the end. HopfenWeisse (1546) - - NOV 5, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 Hazy golden orange color with huge head. Aroma is floral, belgian yeast. Flavor is mostly yeast and hops, bitter.
