UPDATED: MAR 28, 2012 500ml can. Best before 09-02-2010. Pours an orangey yellow with gold hues and a foamy white head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving not much lacing. It has a very earthy hop aroma, very spicy. The malt is there too though it is rather dull. It is another Polish pale lager that isnt a true Euro pale lager. It is heartier but not exactly better. The malts are bready and pleasant. There is a slight bitterness, but not much. The hops have a slight lemon hint. It is full bodied for the style though it has a decent carbonation. It is the kind of stuff you drink when you want to have an easy drinker that packs a little extra abv. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 04-27-2010 21:55:15 having another an right now, it seems salty almost, the can is super fresh. Downgrade.

50cl bottle at Propaganda Bar in Kracow. This was pretty much everywhere you turned in Kracow, both cans and bottles. Pretty much a standard, average lager with no big surprises or disappointments.

500ml can. I was very thirsty, so my points reflects this. :) A decent polish beer, faint malty, hoppy (with small citrus for the yeast), small Co2 to feel smiley. Never better. :)

Bottle 50cl. A copper beer with medium head. This beer is an Oktoberfest kind beer, lagers yeast smell, malty and toasted notes, intense diacetyl, medium bitter, grassy hops, mostly dry. Not really bad but mainly basic.

Bottle (6% ABV). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of detergent, metal. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Clunky industrial lager.

Schroppfy (2360) - Łdż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - FEB 10, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2011 The aroma has something to it, thats for sure. Grainy huskiness, raw wheat, corn, hops (grassy). The flavor actually carries some genuine bitterness, moderate. Kind of thick and slick mouthfeel yet quite carbonated. Easy to drink, very little sweetness, especially but not excusively early, while cold. Even holds up a little in the body when warmer. Better than many of these commercial Polish lagers Ive been sampling, surprisingly. From a can.

ClubGonzo (5568) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 6, 2011
Can. Pours a pale lager body, no more no less. Nose is grain, pale malts, hints of wet cardboard. Some lager yeast. Pretty faint, all in all. Taste is smooth pale malts with moderate-to-low hoppiness, acting as a mere balancing agent rather than a taste component. A drinkable beer that lacks character altogether. OK, but really bland.
