Originally rated October 2008. Just got these half-litre cans at the LCBO in the normal can beer section. Pours a golden colour with an off-white foamy head that is small, and does not leave much lacing once it disappears fast enough. Malty nose mixed with a bit of hop. Taste of sweet malt, but not too sweet, with a mild grainy bitterness finish and a watery aftertaste. Almost flat mouthfeel, but yet carbonation seems fine. Not really a pils, but more like a Polish swill. Best before date is printed at the bottom of the can: 20-03-2009.

Can: Dont know what it looks like, but theres a nice layer of head the whole time Im drinking it. The nose is semi-sweet with a clean biscuity malt and light hop note. Hay and grain dust in the finish with a full bodied malt flavor. Nice lager, pretty clean and tasty.

Golden coloured beer with a fast diminishing white head. Malty flavour with a dry, light hoppy finish. Ok flavour, but quite flat. (Can 50cl)

50cl bottle at Propaganda Bar in Kracow. This was pretty much everywhere you turned in Kracow, both cans and bottles. Pretty much a standard, average lager with no big surprises or disappointments.

Bottle (6% ABV). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of detergent, metal. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Clunky industrial lager.

500ml can. I was very thirsty, so my points reflects this. :) A decent polish beer, faint malty, hoppy (with small citrus for the yeast), small Co2 to feel smiley. Never better. :)

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2012 500ml can. Best before 09-02-2010. Pours an orangey yellow with gold hues and a foamy white head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving not much lacing. It has a very earthy hop aroma, very spicy. The malt is there too though it is rather dull. It is another Polish pale lager that isnt a true Euro pale lager. It is heartier but not exactly better. The malts are bready and pleasant. There is a slight bitterness, but not much. The hops have a slight lemon hint. It is full bodied for the style though it has a decent carbonation. It is the kind of stuff you drink when you want to have an easy drinker that packs a little extra abv. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 04-27-2010 21:55:15 having another an right now, it seems salty almost, the can is super fresh. Downgrade.
