Love this beer. Smooth but strong taste. This is great. Good with barbeque. Poland is number one with there beers. SN11 (65) - USA - NOV 10, 2007
Bottle. I’ve had a few of these but couldn’t find this beer in U.S. Anyhow, I thought that this was pretty good and deffinately better than Zywiec. Flavor is malty with notes of honey and earthly aroma. Hops are clearly present but do not overpower the taste like other pilsners do. Strong finish. Donatas (188) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - DEC 20, 2002
Very good and refreshing. Even better than some german analogs. HuskerTan (2203) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - DEC 29, 2013

Just the thing to have with a plate of pierogi at a restaurant on Milwaukee Avenue. Quite strong with a decent pilsener taste. Probably the most readily available, popular Polish beer in America. What's the deal with the thermometer gimmick on the bottle? I guess their point is that this beer should be served just shy of frozen. That worries me because I associate that with bad American "pilseners." But Zywiec if you can pronounce it and find it, is worth checking out.

Although this is brewed by the same company that makes Zywiec Pils, I preferred this beer to Zywiec. Maybe because it is a lighter beer that has an exceptional taste. This made it perfect to drink with meals or just while hanging out with a few friends. You will not be in ecstacy with this beer, but you will enjoy every sip. When in Poland, buy the Tatra Pils... a refined Polskie Piwo!! Frank (4196) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2010
Pale golden w/ a foamy and long lasting head of evenly sized medium bubbles. Very nice grassy hop and cut hay nose. Easy-drinking w/ just a slight touch of malt sweetness and a subtle lemon note. Soft and light w/ gently effervescent carbonation. Only flaw is just a small lack of bitterness which makes it finish a bit watery. I can tell my bottle of this was fresh and its quite good, just a touch more hops and its world class. If you are a lager fan, it might be worth seeking out a venue where they move through this stuff quickly. Or just get lucky like I did. Can at home in London, shared with Lyoli. I picked up this gem somewhere in Hackney. Pours clear, bright gold with a small, white head. Nose has some mild, ripe orange, grainy bread and lightly toasted sugar. Medium sweet flavor, some toasty and grainy malts, subtle caramel malts and alcohol, mild semi-ripe citrus. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Medium sweet finish with light, sticky sweet toasty malts, light grains, very light alcohol presence (impressively), some mild fruit notes, mild hay bitterness. It’s a decent Eastern European strong lager. Jamedra (754) - Hostivice, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 28, 2013
Plechovka 500 ml. Aroma je příjemné sladové s nádechem kvasu. Pena je bílé barvy, jemná, vysoká a držící. Barva samotného piva je zlatá. Chuť má sladový střed s banánovým nádechem, finiš je jemně hořký s alkoholovým závojem. Vcelku se jedná o velmi dobře pitelný ležák s dobrou chutí a aroma. Golden color with a somewhat wispy off white head. Eye opening aromas in that I was expecting the typical Euro lager scent with industrial malt and some alcohol. Instead, I am greeted by mild honey and pale malt mixed with pleasant sweet floral aromas. Great aromas... no, but certainly a better scent than many polish lager. Very heavy, nearly cloying feel. Pale malt and a sweet biscuit flavor in the front. Some floral hops in the middle. A bit of alcohol in the in the finish and linger. A mild citric bite in the linger as well. A fall day kind of brew.
