By no means a great beer -- cheap and industrial make good adjectives -- it isn’t undrinkable either. Thin and on the bitter side of "crisp," it still holds up its Abv remarkably well and is a good cheaper alternative to Hevelius or Lvivske

Bottle 0,5 l. Złote piwo o szybko znikającej pianie i słodowym zapachu. W smaku słodowe z wyraźnym posmakiem alkoholu.

Beeracolyte (51) - Katowice, POLAND - JAN 16, 2015
Puszka kupiona w nocnym.

Alengrin (5334) - BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2014
Typical Eastern European strong lager, tasted when it was 7.8% ABV. Malt sweetness dominates, unfortunately corn is there again as well, low hop bitterness and the expected ’petrol-like’ alcohol in the finish. Cheap alcoholics’ beer, to avoid at all time if you are seriously interested in craft beers. Even the Polish themselves have better strong lagers than this.

Geiserich (4519) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 1, 2014
Can (about ten years old): Malty aroma, honey, alcohol, herbal hops. Hazy honey color, low head. Flavor is malty with honey notes and some nice aging flavors. Bitter hop, light herbal finish. Nice.

Can from Total Wine in Huntington Beach, CA. Pours gold with a transient white head. Aroma is rather floral and corn/grain. Med body. Beer is actually rather floral and pleasant. Then it goes metallic nasty. At least there are no fusel oils. Definite drain pour.
