Taste of lemon, elderflower, some melon, slight apple and subtle pale malts. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. Cask at the 30th Swansea Bay Beer Festival, Brangwyn Hall. As ’Tatton Blonde’, thanks to Ryan for the share. Pours translucent amber orange, still with a foamy white head. Aroma has some yeast, apple and elderflower. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sugary malt, bread, elderflower, apple, musty finish. Fine. Simple but nothing wrong with this.

On cask at Victoria Lounge Bar, Hanley. Pours clear golden with slight white head. Quite fruity with a dry finish. Decent enough blonde.

BlackHaddock (7690) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2014
Cask: half-pint at The Cottage Loaf, Llandudno on 11th June 2014. The beer poured slightly hazy pale gold with a full white crown that gave off lacing. Fairly light flavoured with a mini malt lead in both the aroma and taste. Semi-sweet with so hop background noise, but I could call it subtle or bland: I’ll be kind and say it has subtle notes that produce a refreshing summer brew ideal for a sunny day.

Beersiveknown (5302) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JAN 21, 2012
Dry earthy aroma, golden blonde. Initial citrus then its all about the malt. Dry and fresh cut grass with a satisfying shortbead finish.

Fruity aroma with a bready taste, overall it tastes a bit like a stale lager, not one I’ll be trying again
