1L PET (tap to bottle). Clear golden color. Small size white head, disappears. Malty, grainy, sweet notes in aroma. Bit of yeast, malty, sweet and grainy taste. Somewhat fizzy mouthfeel.

1L tap-to-bottle (Spunka, Tallinn)
Lovely grainy aroma, pure barley. Even more barley in the mouth. Super smooth full palate, carbonation low. Velvetty almost. Leaves plenty of sweet barley malt in ther finish. Maybe wasn’t quite cool enough, but enjoyed it plenty. would like to see a cloudy version.

Tap (Taura Brewery Tap)
Slightly floral perfumey malts in the aroma. SImple sweet malty body. Served a bit cold, and was crisp, in part due to the carbonation. A bit watery. Slightly earthy hops. A touch raw. Milky grains in the finish. Almost chalky. Doesn’t sell itself well, given that this is the brewery tap.

Tap at Spunka. Brilliant gold withblace. Nose of cat piss and bread, lemon, grass. Bready malt flavor, grass, lemon, a bit of cabbage. Thought it was a golden ale, but bartender said it was a lager. Ok, but a bit rough.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
In short: A well-made thirst blond lager. Unpretentiously drinkable.
How: Two pints directly at the brewery taproom (Tauros Loftas)
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is fresh cereals, some apricots, some herbaceous hops. Taste is also fresh soft cereals, notes of apricots, smooth carbonation, light notes of bananas in the after-taste. An unspectacular thirst lager but nonetheless satisfying and refreshing. My two pints were just too easy to drink. One of the last beer in the crazy part of our Lithuanian countryside road trip. Many years from now me and my friends will look at it and say "that was many years ago".

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Rating #4247)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
Herbal hop bitterness defines this quaffer, as fruity honey and mineral effervescence add character.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the misty golden, with little head retention.
-Malts could offer more softness; this lacks the toast many Lithuanian Sviesus brews have.
-The relatively low carbonation and silky mouthfeel increase drinkability.
-Citrusy angles also help drinkability.
-This is well made and enjoyable, but ultimately can’t stand out in this brewery-rich area of Lithuania.
On tap at Tauros Loftas.
