3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted at a restaurant. Much better than expected. Strong aroma, nice foam head (but dissappeared quickly), and very pleasant on palate, with tiny citrous touches, some banana and spices. The only thing that bothered me it’s that it was extra-mega-uber-hyper cloudy.
On tap at Eine Kleine Kneipe, in Santiago.
Golden unclear color, good foam- some sediments
Good aroma intensity, good fruitiness- some banana and malt. Medium body & complexity. Well balanced
Refreshing and enjoyable Wuuzergackl667 (1) - GERMANY - MAY 14, 2009 does not count
A very fine bavarian-style wheat-beer in a beautiful landscape between Santiago and Valparaiso. They serve also seasonal beers. davidpl (435) - Santiago, CHILE - DEC 16, 2007
(from cask and drank with the brewmaster)
Appearance: yellow orange color, cloudy. Medium head, white, some rocky and some persistent.
Aroma: wheat is dominant, yeasty smells, and honey reminiscences. Sour touch, maybe from hops. Fruity smells like papayas and banana.
Flavor: to grains, wheat mainly. Fresh yeasty with bread reminiscences. Sourness from hops. Fruity-reminiscences of lemon, orange and papayas. Slight hoppy touch final.
Palate: light to medium body. Medium carbonation.
Refreshing and balanced beer. Nice yeasty and sour touches.
