UPDATED: AUG 3, 2009 Nice untypical dunkel weizen. Beautiful aroma. Great wood, some spice and fantastic wheat notes. Smooth and sweet. Nice dry and, hint of bitter is just about right. Worth a try. Howver, be open-minded - it’s not your usual dunkel weizen.
On tap at Spark & Tawandang, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out light toasted malt, some light nuttiness and a touch of red fruits. Flavour is dry, with toasted nuts, bready malt and a bit of a stale quality. Not bad, but could use some tweaking. Okay. jmgreenuk (9452) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 27, 2017
Tap at the Bangkok Rama 3 brewpub. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin broken light head. The aroma is sweet roasty malt, light creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich grainy sweet malt, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Ferris (15272) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 19, 2017

Mild würziger Start, etwas muffig, süßlich brotig. Langweilig, steigend bitter, was zum Ende das Hauptaroma wird. Nö. 8/8/8/7//8 kermis (13420) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 23, 2016

Draught at the brewpub in Singaporegnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2013
Dark brown color. More than roasty, chocolate or nutty character, these dark malts give a dusty character to the beer; the bitterness is rather low.
Draught (sampled) at the brewpub in Singapore on July 9, 2013.
Hazy dark brown color, brown head. Sweet, malty, grainy, hints of toffee scent. Malty, dry taste. Dry, mineral, sand like aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
Swedish saying "Inte mycket att hänga i julgranen" suits this one rather well, not bad, clean and all, but where’s the life and charcter of the beer?
