A respectful cookie dough bows to prevalent but still light hops...Baby plantanes play naked in grassy citrus peels...Prideless yet careful craftsmanship...

Tap at the Bangkok Rama 3 brewpub. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy long-lasting white head. The aroma is malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a watery, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Its not Chang!

Draft @ Singapore brewpub. Hazy milky yellow with stable, tight head. Kit beer aroma, but smells like a well-made kit beer. Predictable formulaic feel, predictable yeast character. Some freshly cut orchard fruit esters. Fizzy palate. The malt character is decent but is way too yeasty. Nice dry, floral finish indicating good hopping. Not bad.

[Tap] Dark golden pour with a large amount of soapy foam on top. Faint nose of grass, pale malts and some vegetable. Flavors of light malts, grains, crackers and straw. Fairly clean and drinkable. Tasting notes from 9/2014.

Tap. Golden yellow with a big foamy white head in a 0.3L glass. Fairly smooth but relatively non-descript. Slightly more character and hops than most Asian lagers.

Tried from draught in Phnom Penh. Slightly hazy yellow pour with creamy head. Aroma is floral, hoppy and citrussy. Fresh. Good smooth hoppy taste. Nice.

Draught at Tawandang Brewery, Singapore. Golden body with a bubbly white head. Sourish malt and lemon grass in aroma and flavour. Mild bitterness. Its just like any run of the mill Asian lager.

Lager not my favorite style, but after their marvelous Hefe i had to try this. Entirely adequate. Almost clear, lightly hazy, good draft head. Grassy lager nose, classic lager floral hops. What else can I add? Worked well with spicy Thai food.

Draught at the Rama III location. F me, I take what feels like an hour long taxi ride to this place to escape the pale lagers and end up liking this the most. Hazy amber. Nose of light snappy floral hops, flavour is honestly horse blanket, for some reason I get that from unfiltered lagers. Finish lasts. More similar to the kellerbiers Ive tried than any pale lager. Sat next to the taps, this was 90% of their pours, but its not only because its the most similar to the ubiquitous yellow fizz here, its just a really good beer imho.
