Claim an Exemption, our abbey-style tripel. This crisp golden strong ale unites lemon, orange peel, and coriander spices with flavorful Belgian esters. White wheat, oat, and Belgian artisan malts contribute a moderate body, balanced by a generous amount of Belgian candi sugar.

Can Thanks to Vyvvy for giving me one of these. Pours slightly hazy orange hue with a small fizzy white head and no lacing. Looks more like orange soda than anything. Very estery citric nose lots of fruit and sweetness. Flavors follow up the nose quite well-lots of sugary sweet belgian malts, lite hops, lite candied citrus. Finish is a bit muddled has some mushy malt notes. Other than the finish, this is pretty solid. Body is sweet sticky and slick with medium carbonation. Not bad.

It pours golden with a white head. The aroma has zest, rich Abbey malt, coriander and light cream. It has a medium body with semi sharp carbonation. The taste has a drier version of the aroma and more zest. Pretty enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is moderate Belgian fruity yeast esters (pear, apple) with cracker malt and Belgian Candi sugar. Flavor is crisp cracker malt, lightly sweet with light peppery alcohol notes, Belgian yeast fruity esters (pear, apple), light spicy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Full body and moderate carbonation.

This draft brew from a beer bar poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent weak yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was caramel malt. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a mild caramel hop aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of strong malt caramel and malt. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average fizzy white head that lasted with good lacing. Complex fruit yeast and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium fruit sweet flavor with a medium yeast sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a refreshing good beer.

Rated on 6-25-2016 at liquor store Summer event. The appearance of this canned beer is a small off-white head that is fully lasting, hazy straw gold body, very little carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is fruity, yeast and malt. The flavor is sweet, yeast, spicy, malt, and some of the ABV comes through. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A drinkable beer, but the flavor is a bit to be desired. This is one of my favorite beer styles and it is not one of the better ones that I have drank/rated.
