Bottle. An almost clear one, dark reddish brown in color and with a dense, dark beige head. The aroma has prunes and raisins, with some coffee and dark sugars. Malty hints. The flavor is mostly on the dry side, but some sugars are present. Roasted notes, dried fruits and some caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dried fruits and caramel in the finish. Thanks Tomer. Brown color with an off-white head with short duration. Aroma has notes of dry fruits, caramel and toasted malts. Flavor is quiet similar as aroma with sweet notes. HIgh carbonation in the final with a mild sweetness.

Flavour is composed of musty fruit, funk, dull malts, slight staleing. Palate is watery, thin, moderate carbonation.

Bottle at the chriso May 2014 tasting - London. Pours clear, amber-brown with a creamy white head. The nose holds leathery berries, wood and dirt. Light sweet flavor, thin, with dry wood, more leather and earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly tangy on the finish with some further berries, old leather and bitter earth. So so.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Clear deep amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light and airy, modest fine carbonation. Slightly candyish sweet fruits, sweet dried fruits. Touch of tea. Light dry finish. Slightly odd but drinkable.
