Bottle shared by DSG at the hotel lobby fart share - thanks again, Barak! Pours a mostly clear tea amber with a small lasting beige head that settles into a ring. Notes of chocolate, toast, tobacco, earth, and brown sugar. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a relatively sweet mouthfeel. Not bad. Underrated.

33 cl. bottle at home. High fluffy long lasting off-white head. Clear very dark red brown body. Solid base of malt and caramel in the aroma which also has notes of candy sugar. Mild and relatively sweet roasted malt caramel flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this bad boy. Deep brown beer with a thin tan head. Unusual caramel/toffee aroma with a strange phenolic edge to it. Yeasty and crackery but again, theres something not quite right in here. A lingering toastiness. Lightly sweet but thin-bodied. Meh.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Obtained in a trade with tlahav. Pours a dark red pomegranate-hued dark brown with no head. Smell tart, light vinegar, red berries, this doesnt feel entirely right, not per se off-puting, it isnt too good either. Tastes of bitter leaves, hebs, smoke, red berry sourness, tangy. Touch less carb. I doubt that they intended it to be this way, nice effort I suppose from Palestine but infected sadly never-the-less which appears to be how it always is going by the other ratings.

18/I/14 - 33cl bottle @ RBBWG III, my place - BB: 25/VII/13, bottled: 25/VII/13 (2014-85) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, small beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit smoky, grains, hint of mocha, hay. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: grains, bit smoky, mocha, bad chocolate, some coffee. Aftertaste: bit funky, overripe fruits, caramel, dried fruits, smoky, earthy. Pretty complex for a Middle Eastern beer, but still not very good.

Cheers to the last Christian town in the West Bank. 12 ounce bottle thanks to Barak. Pours a dark ruddy brown color with a small beige head. A big pleasant malty nose. Nutty and dark toasted malt flavors, some sweet fruit. very smooth, berries, a bit of cola. Very nice. في صحتك!.
