A distinctively flavoured beer with a clean, crisp taste. Taybeh (tai-bey) in Arabic means "delicious." The fresh, flavourful alternative to imported beers.
This beer is also brewed for export at Strubbe in Belgium.

0.33 l bottle, thanks omhper! Golden color. Small white disappearing head. A sweetish and rounded aroma with some lemon and raspberry notes. Thin to medium bodied. The flavor is also sweetish with a tarty fruityness. The aftertaste is drying and rounded. Actually, a relatively balanced and working light beer.

Bottle at several different places around Jerusalem while on holiday. Pours an orange-yellow. Lots of apparent carbonation but almost no head. Smell of light malt and hops and hint of banana. Thankfully free of corn or other adjunct smell (cf. Maccabee). The taste tends more toward the hops than the malt. Medium body, good carbonation, little hint of hop bitterness in the finish. Rather pleasant for the style. If this conflict came down to who has the better beer, I am pretty sure that the Palestinians would win!

0.33 l bottle, thanks omhper and hanniku! Golden color. Sweetish perfumed aroma with lemony and sweaty hops. Sweetish, honeyish and bready flavor with tart fruitiness (elderberry) and sweaty hops. The hop character is unpleasantly sweaty.

Pours pale golden with a white head. Nose is a bit bland, as is the slight bitter flavor. Not much going on here.

Found in a bar in Jerusalem, Israel! Golden blond coloured beer with some light carbonation and a small white head. Rather soft light herby aroma, little grainy touched with a sweet hint. Medium palate. Finish is sweet, light fruity and malty with a light yeasty hint. Not bad.
