Keyaki fall 2016. Nice light raisin aromas with bready notes. Easy drinking, but a nice play of bready malts and fruit-like notes. Easy drinking and well-done for a Japanese alt. d07c0m (126) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 25, 2015
Great colour. Somewhat harsh and carbonic mouthfeel. Missing typical Duesseldorf style Alt funkiness. That being said, clean and drinkable. maekchu (3847) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAY 31, 2015
Bottle from local Yamaya. Light raost malt nose, caramel, fruity. Deep dark reddish-copper color. Malty initial, light caramel, some dark fruit, yeast bit in mid palate. mild bitterness. Goes to a fair balance in final. Thin-medium body. Good, tasty stuff. Not really multifaceted in any way (it is an alt), but nice enough. Wombata (623) - Kobe, JAPAN - NOV 3, 2014
Tap at Enibru Tazawako Event
Aroma: Not very aromatic as served rather too cold.
Flavor: pleasant roasted grain and yeast with a long finish.
Comment: Not complex but still tasty.

Clear brown color, medium sized tan head. Malty, fruity, some esters scent. Malty, a bit fruity, mineral taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Well balanced. Some grainy bitterenss. Grainy, fruity aftertaste.
Who nicked the hops? Malty red ale with low hopping. Welcome to the world of Japanese Alts. Straight forward, bready, caramel and very soft finish. Stuck in first gear unfortunately.
