FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2016
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a copper color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy with a bit of vague fruits. The flavor was tangy, a bit malty and a touch bready and grainy with a hint of fruity hops. Medium length finish that turned a bit dry. Medium body. Not good. ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 26, 2016
Bottle, mine says 5% abv but the IBBU count is the same. Nose very malty with light flits of citrus and grass, touch of grain, melanoidin development. Pour rich clear golden with a sudsy off-white head. Crisp full body very sunny and bright, excellent deep malt with bready resolution and a little wood, to boot! Touch of corn, touch of diacetyl, both fine here. Citrus and lightly grassy hops very nice here, fresh, clean, and invigorating. No significant bitterness, light but lasting sweetness, dash of chalky coating with volume. Solid through and through. Poured a dark golden color with a white head. Aroma was of cereal and grassy hops. Flavor similar, a bit on the sweet side and a little bit of corn. Ok. superspak (5587) - Michigan, USA - JUN 1, 2016
12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly clean on lager flavors; some slight fruitiness and sulfur, but it’s not detrimental. Light-moderate dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a nice Munich helles style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. cheap (5856) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 12, 2016
Bot. Smells like a clean lager. :Looks like a lager. Sparkles like a lager. Taste starts off sizzling co2 and then the mild dortness sneaks in. Gets a little slick as the session continues. Becomes a little malty sweet fer sure. Slight caramel finish.

Very mild malt aroma, pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Touch of sweetness, with a hint of fruit notes. Very light bodied with not much going on for a finish. A easy drinking light bodied, session beer, not bad, but nothing special either. rondphoto (4439) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 8, 2015
on tap @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Clear light amber color, white head cover, bands of lace. Aroma of musty grass. Taste is a watery malt that moves into a shallow, fizzy swallow, then finishes with barely discernible hops. Understated in a very unflattering way. phaleslu (10247) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 16, 2014
Draft sample at Cincy Beerfest 2014 on Fountain Square. Pours a clear gold color with a white head. Big malty notes throughout - sweet, pale, crackery, and even a bit corny - with straw and a dash of fresh grass. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry, malty mouthfeel. This was called an American Adjunct Lager on the signage there, and I’d believe that before thinking it was a pure Dortmunder/helles. bytemesis (8375) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 21, 2014
Tap. Pours clear amber, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is quite light, touch of caramel and bready malt, grass. Flavor is light sweet, little bitterness, caramel, bread. Smoke and clean, but pretty boring. Light body. sturmthis (1149) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 10, 2014
On draft. Malty aroma. Cooper color with little head. Bready taste that ends slightly bitter. Decent.
