Bottle from bittermestupid. Thanks Greg! Pours dark reddish brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma has lots of chocolate and smooth dark malt. Med minus body. Flavor is smooth dark malt, coffee and some dark chocolate. Flavor seems to be quite different from the aroma. It’s not exactly dry, but there’s enough chocolate and burnt malt to make up for that. Drinks really well. Patrickctenchi (6750) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Pours black, ruby backlights with a short tan head. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Scent is minimal....faint coffee.
Taste is a nice, bitter coffee....some chocolate, creamy malt.
Nothing fancy, just a decent, solid, porter.
bottle from dak 1/22/12. Peacehammer (627) - California, USA - JUN 4, 2012
pale porter color. clean and thin looking.
it smells like wet grain, chocolate and spicy hops.
tastes the same...quite mediocre.
thin quaffable mouth feel yet a bit oily. 5/2.5/5/2.5/13
very dark brown, some fast dissipating off white head. Big dark malt aroma. Maybe a little smoke on the nose as well. Flavor is roasted coffee and chocolate. The roast quality is the predominant one. Quite an enjoyable beer. ICEatALAMO (1355) - Troy, Michigan, USA - MAY 26, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2012 Bottle. Pours rather dark with a lot of head. Aroma is heavy heavy malt flavor. Taste continues with heavy malt and very light coffee. Finishes mild. A very average porter.

Appearance: Pours a dark black opaque.
Aroma: Aroma roasty..
Taste: Light bitterness, roasty/smokey, faint nuttiness.
Summary: Solid porter, another solid beer from TBK.
Pretty solid porter. Pours translucent brown, moderate head. Moderate body that is very drinkable but heavy enough to hold the flavors. Roasty, nutty, some chocolate and a relatively light finish. Overall pretty good and a good example of the style. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - MAY 4, 2012
12 oz. bottle via trade with bittermestupid - Pours a dark brown color with a 3/4 finger thick light tan tasting. Very light lacing. Aroma and flavor is toasted malt and light chocolate. Medium body. Nothing fancy, just a nice drinkable Porter. Thanks Greg. danielcurtis81 (1519) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 27, 2012
Served from a 12 oz bottle from Hyde Park Wine and Spirits. The appearance is a cola brown with a small tan head. The flavors and aromas are similar with a mild roast malt, and light doses of chocolate and floral coffee. Mild carbonation in the mouth, not too creamy. A run of the mill porter. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - APR 22, 2012
Pours dark cola brown with a disappearing tan head. The aroma is nice with some roasted malt, cocoa powder, toast and a nice balancing lactic sweetness. The flavor is sweet and a bit thin up front with some cola and cocoa powder followed by a more robust roasted malt character. Pretty simple, but tasty. It comes alive more in the finish with some coffee and chocolate. I enjoyed this one.
