Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have spicy rye bread, caramel, resiny, some citrus, toasted, grass, decent enough.

Bottle at home. Pours a very murky brown with a minimal head. Aroma is serious rye, caramel, whole wheat bread, herbs, and earth. The taste is very rye forward, slight caramel back end, toffee, dank weed, and dandelions. The finish is somewhat bitter and rye. Medium light body, grainy texture. I like this style of beer and this is good.

12 ounce bottle from And Beer, Athens. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of rye, raw malt, candied citrus, pine, caramel. The taste is toffee malt, rye, citrus. Medium bodied, good balance. Nice beer, as per usual from these guys.

12oz bottle. Murky amaber-tan body. Thin, steady white head. Spicy sweet rye aroma. Clean malt-centered body. I’m not really that into amber malt or rye, but this is OK. A little wobbly, odd, but well settled in quality malt tones.

12oz bottle - pours murky amber with off white head. Nose is rye and herbal. Reminds me of a trip to a bourbon distillery. Slightly off putting aftertaste along with grapefruit. Mildly bitter.

Thanks to Cliff for the bottle but sorry man- but this was revolting... . Mucky tan brown .. . Fizzy head .. . Thin mouth .. . Metal and water treatment qualities .. . The lettering was wrong, a C fell off the name of this beer .. . . I always carry at least 20 sharpie pens on me.. Just incase..

12 ounce bottle. Copper color. Malty with lots of caramel. Bit of sweetness on end. That rye comes through. Interesting take on amber.

Tea brown with a short, tan head.
Rye malt, leafy hop aroma.
Taste is caramel, rye, herbal bittering.
Pretty decent.

12oz bottle pours amber with white head. Hop and rye aroma. Sweet malty taste.

mikesaum (712) - Newark, Ohio, USA - APR 8, 2013
Pours amber with a thin tan head, turns to a collar, not much lacing. Aroma is herbal hops and plenty of rye spice notes, malty. Taste is about the same, hints of rye with a herbal and slightly bitter hop finish that doesn’t linger. Easy drinking, not bad, not great, probably won’t buy again.
