2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
$2 at marinos in sylvania. Pour is a darker brown. Just a plain old beery smell. Has this malty thing going on in there but not sure if I taste any of those spices so promently mentioned in the description. At first I don’t think it is 8% but as the session continues it starts to warm my belly and the alky feeling in theh mouth starts to buiild. Stronger alky taste increases as session continues. Now I think its 8%! Not sure what to think of this, its gets a little medicinal near the finish. Yes, cannot taste cinnamon, nor honey nor orange peel, just simple strong malty beer. A little over the top in personality for this lager lover.
12 ounce bottle. No aroma. Deep copper in color. Not overwhelmingly distinct. Smooth on the palate. Middle of the winter beer. Nothing jumps out at you Very well balanced. arn8897 (412) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2016
Pours a deep amber with an off white head. Aromas of malt and some caramel and spice and some alcohol warmth in the finish. Medium mouth feel with no lacing in the glass. Nice warmth also. FROTHINGSLOSH (7944) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2016
Sampled on draft this beer poured an orange-brown color with a large foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was sweet with caramel, toffee, a bit of golden & dark fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Tasty. Youngstown, Oh - on tap at Rust Belt Brewing Tap Room. Medium copper pour, light off white head. Toffee, caramel, and Christmas spice in the aroma. Flavor has a similar spicy profile, Christmas spices are quite prominent and warming, throw in some pipe tobacco notes and you have an excellent winter warmer for a rainy cold Youngstown evening. Pours slightly hazy orange brown colour with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of ginger, cinnamon, dark malt, pumpkins. Taste of intense spicy malts, cinnamon, ginger, orange, pumpkins.
Many thanks to my "Santa 2015" jsquire for this bottle! The beer starts mild and smooth. Not too intense with a nice malty body. Smooth and a bit grainy, easy to drink. Round and fresh with a dry and slightly roasted malty aftertaste. Not much bitterness, dry with hints of caramel. Nice though. Turboninja (805) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 15, 2016

, from Little Italy Wines, Cleveland, USA. Medium aroma with honey, cinnamon, cardamom, cherry and other Christmas flavors. Deep orange color with small light beige head and hazy liquid. Medium taste with smooth slightly sweet Christmas flavors like in Aroma. Medium taste spectrum and medium/short aftertaste with cinnamon and some sweet malts. Medium/Light palate with medium/light carbonation. Overall, quite mediocre with basic Christmas flavors in a bit watery style. Alcohol is masked quite well.
Pours dark copper with a thin tan head. Aroma of coriander and cinnamon. Initial taste of mild "Christmas cookie" spices. Soft and delicate on the tongue and NOT overpowering.

on tap at Melt Bar & Grilled Easton. The Brew Kettle Winter Warmer is a Darker copper red clear brew with a decent head of white bubbles. Nose is Nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. The taste is a sweeter medium malt with a good amount of the afore mentioned spices. A pleasant amount of spice, which is a fine line to walk. Medium body. A decent winter beer, but not greatly different than a number of similar products.
