Considered the light version of the "working man’s Mexican beer". Has a very light and ultra clean flavor that actually serves better than regular Tecate on a scorcher of day where a frosty bottle is soooo good hitting the lips. osvaldorios130 (1) - Arizona, USA - JUL 10, 2017 does not count
Best beer ever made hands down first time tasting it was like the angels came down from heaven and lifted me away Aggiebob (1208) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUL 8, 2017
24 oz can from Mapco for $2.09. Color is clear gold with a white head. The faint aroma is malty grain with a sweet corn taste. Light watery body. It is what it is a light lager. yojayhudson (1) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 26, 2017 does not count
A long time ago there was a skinny little boy that used to get bullied by the girls in grades below him because he was just so annoyingly weak. If that kid was a beer, his name would be "Tecate Light" Embarrassment in a can.

Pale golden with a white head - Hardly any aroma - Weak malt flavour with no bitterness - Hardly any finish - This was just extremely boring and lacks flavours jandd1983 (4444) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 19, 2017
Bottle. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of pale malts, corn and dough. The taste was similar to the aroma with more malts, corn, dough and a mild aftertaste. Frank (4220) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 13, 2017
This stuff isn’t bad but it is very light indeed. It’s bright and golden in color w/ a foamy head. There is a bit of grain character here and even a waft of herbal hop aroma and a bit of bitterness in the finish. It’s not as clean as some macro lagers but good enough that what little flavor this has shines though. I drank like eight ounces of it while writing the previous four sentences so it’s got that going for it at least. PhatCatt (86) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Medium/low levels of carbonation, yellowish pale. Medium-light bodied. Corny with notes of berries. wlajwl (6942) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 23, 2017
Aroma and flavor is malts/pale malts/grains and a mix of mild fruit and beery in the finish. A little more redeemable than the American macros, decent.
