cervezadrinker (69) - MEXICO - DEC 4, 2014
used to be a quite common cheap "get drunk" beer but now is just awful, maybe some malt taste somewhere there but is basically yellow water with some booze... it is the bad stereotypical macro. avoid it.

scooterbub (1067) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - SEP 1, 2014
12 ounce can. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head that lasts. Taste is of malt and corn. Similar light aroma. Has a decent body for a lager with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Refreshing and easy to drink.

slowrunner77 (12139) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 26, 2014
i really didn’t think this would be so bad. Tecate is not anywhere NEAR the worst of the yellow pee beers, but somehow this ---- is. Offensive foot odor and a little aftertaste too. Not good beyond a buzz, and if you want that, why drink light? This really really sucked.

DeanF (2469) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 9, 2014
Has a very weak rotten cabbage aroma. Appearance is pathetic yellow body with carbonation and barely any head. The only reason it gets a 2 instead of a 1 is because of the barely any head, instead of none. Flavour is a very weak mix of corn and sugar with a bit of sharpness from the carbonation. Weak mouthfeel. It’s a poor excuse for a beer, sadly the norm for the light beers.

thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - JUN 10, 2014
$1 can at Wee Shack in Morro Bay. New lunch spot! Corn and water are overly present. Slight bitter spent grain and bread. Not much else.

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 26, 2014
So, just the more watered down version of Tecate. I mean, really close to water on this one.

troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2014
[Can] Sparkling yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Corn and adjunct aroma. Taste is the same with metal, penny, rotten vegetable notes thrown in.

>> 69 cent aisle at the local bodega thanks to Bobby. Properly rot boxed. Sparkling straw pour. Okay foam. Nose is sweet honey, not so bad. Taste is sweet, mealy apple, sweet apple juice. Not so bad. Battered up truck can, served warm.

BreWedge (539) - goose bay, Newfoundland, CANADA - MAR 2, 2014
355 ml can @ El Dorado Royale, Mayan Riviera, Mexico. Pours a clear light yellow with a small, short-lived white head. Aromas are of spent grains/adjunct. Taste is lightly tinny, spent grains, with the mildest touch of hop bitterness. Incredibly thin, light body, with a short tinny finish. Overall, awful beer but I have to admit I still enjoyed it sitting in the sun by the pool.

scarletfire65 (1472) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 21, 2014
Can on the balcony atHard Rock Hotel, Riviera Maya, Furthur Paradise Waits. Light, crisp, corny lager. Clean finish, lime wedge recommended for this one.
