Extremely thin and watery. Because of the cool eagle on the label I had some expectations on this brew. I shouldn't have.

Way too much carbonation, not enough head and an overall watery taste..not much stands out.

Pours pale yellow with small head. Flat aroma. Overcarbonated with very low flavor. Slightly sweet with almost no bitterness. An off aftertaste. Not good. Comparable to Bud-Miller-Coors.

Staw yellow, not much of hops and malt flavor. Smells and taste like a can of corn.

Bottle. Golden color with just a film of a white head. Light refreshing citrusy aroma. Very thin taste of just a hint of malt with a slight sudsy feel. Easy to drink, but I wouldn't want a lot.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2004 Very, very light. Has little flavor at all. Nice and smooth, but this due to its lack of character.

Ok was going cheap in the local 7/11 type store..it was over 80 degrees i was going to have a BBQ so what the hell! Seemed like a good idea. OK pours from the simple yet attractive red /gold and black can..a light honey gold ..with a small head that dissapears fast , leaving a ring of froth round the top. The smell I found to be not very attractive i can smell the malt but theres some kind of soapy chemical aroma too. Taste is not too bad..its mainlly sweet malts and theres some bitterness but not sure at all if its hops..has a rather unpleasant aftertaste. pretty average for macro-style on the palate. average drinkability..only when its in a frozen mug and its 80 degrees outside. I would say this beer is pretty similar to Miller High Life..but not quite as good

Can: Golden color, stale watery taste with little character, not much different form other mexican beers. Poor.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2003 One of the better american standards i think. Doesnt get warm quick and quenches the thirst perfectly. Cheap but nothing to go too wild over.
