750ml flip-top bottle. Thanks to Finn. Deep, ruby-dark coloured body, declining fawn-coloured head. Moderate roasted malty aroma with suggestions of herbs and mild spices. Taste of roasted, semi-sweet malts with hints of caramel and chocolate, mild hints of star anise, as well. Bittering malts to the ending. Fits the winter season quite well (Tromsø, 18.12.2011). Flaske 0,75l fra Kilpishalli. Skibotn 8 Okt 11. Dyp rødbrun. Veldig lavt skum som blir nesten helt borte. Svakt røstet aroma. Smaken er røstet malt. Litt syrlig bitterhet etter hvert. Fin etikettdesign - ser ut til å være ment som et vinterøl. Bra matøl.
