Dark ruby color, creamy mocha head. Nicely toasted nose with some sweetness and licorice. Crisp carbonation, served too cold also. Very clean palate (opposite what Seppo wrote) - in the meaning that this is not "craft beer -like", not "microbrewish". Light toasted breadyness and some caramel flavors which are quickly fading away. Some hops in the aftertaste. This is not bad but brewed too much "for the masses". Typical middle-on-the-road Teerenpeli-stuff.
Bottle, 75cl. A reddish dark brown beer, clear looking and with a small, beige head on top. Lightly peaty nose, roasted, chocolatey and lightly coffee-ish. Some faint bitterness in the flavor, but it’s mostly roasted and malt driven. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate notes and some prune hints. Full-bodied, semi-sweet and quite pleasantly carbonated. Lasting roasted and dry finish with a little bitterness. A pleasant beer, at least considering the ABV. 120623 FatPhil (16953) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 4, 2007

Dark red, thin tight light beige head. Served cold, but slightly creamy aroma, a little sour, also fresh hoppy aroma. Rich burnt malt taste initially, also hoppy, but fades to a mellower roasty malt. The finish returns to the burnt bitterness. Tasty. (5-4-7-4-13=3.3)

Very dark red. Massive chocolatey aroma. Cold, and with sharp carbonation. Cocoa powder taste, kinda-lacking beer. Finish again cocoa. A gimmick and a caricature. Had again a few weeks later - wasn’t so bad.
Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, caramel, roasted malt, hop. Flavour is yeast, caramel, hop, coffee. OK/Nice beer. bierkoning (13614) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 1, 2012
Scotch ale??? Swing top bottle from Tbone, thanks! Dark brown color. Apple syrup and licorice in the aroma. Roastflavor with licorice and apple syrup. Roast lingering on in the aftertaste. Decent enough.
