Draft at Teerenpeli. Cloudy variegated orange color, white edge head. Aroma of paprika and orange. Taste is spoiled orange juice, cinnamon, ginger. OK. raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - MAY 21, 2010
Draught at Teerenpeli Kamppi (obviously, it’s a "house beer"). Reddish dark brown, completely fading head. Nose has some roastiness, coffee, hops maybe for the freshness. Flavor is porterish, sour roasted, some subtle hops and stale coffee. Some bitterness. Homebrew feel like kotikalja, maybe yeastiness and sugar. Ok at first, but gets stale quickly. Feels a bit real aleish and home made. Low carb and unbalanced. TBone (17699) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 1, 2010

Dark brown color, small off-white head. Caramelly-chocolaty aroma with grassy notes. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to nose: chocolate in the front then caramel, low grassy bitterness. Low profile dark ale. Maybe closest style for this is brown ale, also some porterish and American dark ale notes in this one off.
Draughty (Teerenpeli, Helsinki) - Dark brown with some red tinges when held to the light. Malty aroma with hints of raisins and some slightly roasted notes. Malty and slightly chocolatey taste with hints of dried fruit, roasted malt, liquorice and toffee. mjs (7470) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 11, 2010

Guess I got to add a new Finnish beer, yaaay! Poured a dark red, almost black body with an impressive everlasting medium to big thick lighter brown head. Sweetish nose, coffee and chocolate. The creamy taste doesn’t differ all that much, but it’s coffee mostly here, There’s some meat too that distracts a little but coffee takes over most of the times. Not too complex but ok for what it is (whatever that is really, it’s just a "tumma ale" (dark ale) according to the board, too dark to be a brown ale like another site says so here it went).
