UPDATED: SEP 18, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Distinct clove aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is nicely spicy, mostly clove, little citrus. Quite bitter for a Hefeweizen, and also quite sweet. But quite good, could have been made in Germany. High carbonation. 7 3 7 3 16

Draught, 5.3% at EBF08. Spicy aroma, clove. Cloudy yellow colour. Big white head. Good spicy flavour, clove, slightly sweet. Light but good mouthfeel. 6 3 6 3 13
Thin white head. Hazy opaque orange body. Fruity mealy banana aroma with florist notes. (Florist is right. Smells a bit like a florist shop.) Dryish sweetish mealy yeasty floral taste with banana notes. Sharpish mouthfeel, probably from carbonation in the mouth. No real aftertaste, just perfumy traces of ash and milk. Still, quite a good effort. (0.3l draft at Teerenpeli Kamppi, Helsinki.) Tranquillity (2533) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008

Monni, Helsinki. Cloudy, burnished yellow color, foamy head. Aroma and taste both mostly yeast and banana. Not particularly exciting.
(Teerenpeli, Helsinki). Looks horrible, sort of mustard yellowbrown, with even cloudiness all the way through. Nose is mainly wheat, yeast and some banana. Flavor has some nice hops, yeast and some fruits. More of dry than sweet which is good. Some acidiness. All in all, it’s the only finnish hefe-weizen I’ve tasted and quite a good one.
